Rather expected game when 7th ranked Prinemanye (1-5) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Vitebsk (4-3) 75-71. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Vitebsk outrebounded Prinemanye 52-32 including 19 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by forward Victor Ovsepyan (204-91) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and forward Marsel Ovsepian (202-90) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Vitebsk's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds by power forward Victor Ilyukevich (203-94) did not help to save the game for Prinemanye. Guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) added 14 points, 5 assists and 6 steals for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vitebsk have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Tsmoki II and Impuls BGUIR. Prinemanye at the other side keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Vitebsk will play against league's second-placed COR-Borisfen in Mogilev in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Prinemanye will play on the road against Impuls BGUIR (#3) in Minsk to get more than just one victory in their record.
