Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Crema (7-3) beat at home 11th ranked Sangiorgese (4-6) 72-63 on Sunday. Guard Daniele Manuelli (191-94) scored 28 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Gabriele Zanella (204-81) chipped in 17 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Francesco Toso (203-96) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and center Stefano Scuratti (202-94) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Crema have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Bergamo. Sangiorgese lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Crema will face Battaglia (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Sangiorgese will play against Fiorentina (#14) and hope to win that game.
