The game in Malmo supposed to be also quite interesting. 4th placed Boras Basket (7-4) played at the court of sixth ranked Malbas (6-6). Malbas defeated Boras Basket 80-64 on Friday. The game without a history. Malbas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Malbas had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Boras Basket's players. The best player for the winners was international center Carl Engstrom (216-91, college: Alabama) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Darion Rackley (190-92, college: Jacksonville St.) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Christian Maraker (207-82, college: Pacific) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and Icelandic point guard Jakob Sigurdarson (192-82, college: Birm.Southern) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Malbas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Boras Basket keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Malbas will meet KFUM Jamtland (#9) on the road in the next round. Boras Basket will play against Sundsvall Dragons (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
