Everything could happen in Zaragoza at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Blancos de Rueda and 12th ranked El Olivar had identical 3-6 record. But El Olivar was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Valladolid 81-74 on Saturday night. El Olivar trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 20 after three quarters before a 26-13 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 74-81 at the end of the game. Center Sergio De La Fuente (198-89) fired 20 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Georgian center Shota Gelazonia (205-94) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Blancos de Rueda (4-6) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Clinicas Rincon. Newly promoted El Olivar dropped to the eleventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Cambados and Zornotza. Blancos de Rueda will meet at home league's second-placed Meridiano Alicante in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. El Olivar will play against CB Granada (#8) and hope to secure a win.
