Regular Season Round 21: Takamatsu FA - Aomori Watts 61-84

There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (5-12) was smashed at home by ninth ranked Aomori Watts (8-9) 84-61 on Saturday. The game without a history. Aomori Watts led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Aomori Watts outrebounded Takamatsu FA 42-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for guard Yuki Kitamuki (184-85) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) contributed with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Aomori Watts players scored in double figures. American power forward Anthony Kent (208-83, college: Ball St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Nino Johnson (206-93, college: SE Missouri St.) added 5 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Takamatsu FA. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aomori Watts maintains ninth place with 8-9 record which they share with defeated Takamatsu FA. Takamatsu FA lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost. Aomori Watts will have a break next round.
