Regular Season Round 11: SISU - Horsens IC 72-87

Ligaen top team - Horsens IC (12-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventh ranked SISU (2-9) in Copenhagen 87-72. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. SISU was better in third quarter 21-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsens IC players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Marquis Addison (193-91, college: Missouri So.) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 assists. International guard Gabriel Lundberg (193-94) helped adding 14 points and 8 assists. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. International forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) responded with 30 points and Montenegrin center Zivojin Grubovic (207-85) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Horsens IC have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 12-0 record. SISU at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with Stevnsgade. Horsens IC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU will play on the road against Randers (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
