Rather expected game in Capo d'Orlando where 10th ranked Betaland CdO (4-6) was edged by eighth ranked Enel Brindisi (6-4) 77-74 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-74. Enel Brindisi made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Betaland CdO was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian center Djordje Gagic (210-90, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Lithuanian Simas Jasaitis (202-82) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and American power forward Alex Oriakhi (208-90, college: Connecticut) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Enel Brindisi moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Umana VE and Banco di Srd. Loser Betaland CdO dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Enel Brindisi will face higher ranked Grissin Bon RE (#3) in Reggio Emilia in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Betaland CdO will play on the road against the league's second-placed Armani Milano (#2) and hope to win that game.
