Very predictable result in Paderborn where sixth ranked BV Chemnitz 99 (8-6) beat 13th ranked Finke Baskets (5-9) 90-73 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by BV Chemnitz 99. Finke Baskets was better in fourth quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BV Chemnitz 99 made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Finke Baskets' coach Uli Naechster rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. BV Chemnitz 99 moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hamburg. Finke Baskets lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with nine games lost. BV Chemnitz 99 will face higher ranked Oettinger Rockets Gotha (#4) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
