Regular Season Round 6: Bank of Taiwan - Yulon Luxgen 80-69

The most important game in the last round was the one between third ranked Yulon Luxgen (4-3) and seventh ranked Bank of Taiwan (1-5) on Sunday night. Yulon Luxgen was defeated by Bank of Taiwan 80-69. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Yulon Luxgen. The game was mostly controlled by Bank of Taiwan. Yulon Luxgen managed to win third quarter 23-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Bank of Taiwan won last quarter 23-13. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Po-Sheng Chang (185-87) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Kai-Xiang Hu (190-91) scored 20 points. Yulon Luxgen's coach Yong-Tai Wei rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Bank of Taiwan left bottom position moving up to sixth place. Yulon Luxgen at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Bank of Taiwan are looking forward to face bottom-ranked KKL (#7) in the next round. Yulon Luxgen will play against Fubon Braves (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
