National League top team - Hapoel B/S (9-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat twelfth ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (3-7) in Beer Sheva 80-76. They outrebounded Ironi Ramat Gan 48-37 including 35 on the defensive glass. Center Anton Shoutvin (206-89) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and American power forward Keith Clanton (205-90, college: Cent.Florida) supported him with 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Even 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by the former international Sean Daniel (197-89) did not help to save the game for Ironi Ramat Gan. American-Dominican forward Kelly Beidler (199-88, college: Mt.St.Mary's) added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side.
