Bottom-ranked CFBB is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their 15th consecutive match to twelfth ranked Caen (8-7) 104-60. The game without a history. Caen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to CFBB's 40. Caen forced 20 CFBB turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 38 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by CFBB's players. The best player for the winners was power forward Fabien Omont (205-86) who scored 28 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American power forward Marvin Phillips (203-83, college: Claflin) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was international center Vincent Poirier (210-93, agency: Comsport) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and swingman Sekou Omar Doumbouya (199-0) added 9 points respectively. CFBB's coach Jean-Aime Toupane gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Caen moved-up to eighth place, which they share with La Rochelle and SAP Vaucluse. CFBB at the other side still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Caen's next round opponent will be Mulhouse Basket (#12) on the road. CFBB will play against Berck (#14) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
