Very important is a loss of third ranked Fubon Braves (4-4) against fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (5-3) on Saturday night. Fubon Braves were defeated by Yulon Luxgen 82-71. The game was mostly controlled by Yulon Luxgen. Fubon Braves was better in third quarter 24-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) who led the winners and scored 22 points. American center James Tyler (218-88) accounted for 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Tyler is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American center Earl Barron (211-81, college: Memphis) came up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and guard Wei-Che Lin (182-92) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Fubon Braves in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Yulon Luxgen moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Fubon Braves dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Yulon Luxgen's next round opponent will be league's leader Pure Youth and it will be for sure the game of the week.
