Regular Season Round 7: KKL - Bank of Taiwan 63-60

A very close game was the one between KKL and Bank of Taiwan. Sixth ranked KKL (3-6) got a very close victory over 7th ranked Bank of Taiwan (1-6). KKL managed to escape with a 3-point win 63-60 on Saturday evening. KKL was tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Bank of Taiwan's 32. It was a great evening for American center Kyle Barone (208-89, college: Idaho) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 17 rebounds. Guard An-Cheng Teng (189-85) helped adding 10 points. At the losing side Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Po-Wi Chanj (190-90) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. KKL moved-up to fifth place. Loser Bank of Taiwan stay at the bottom position with six games lost. KKL will meet Dacin Tigers (#6) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against the league's second-placed Taiwan Beer and hope to win that game.
