Regular Season Round 12: Stal SW - LKS Lodz 55-70

Everything went according to plan when third ranked LKS Lodz (8-4) defeated 7th ranked Stal SW (5-7) in Stalowa Wola 70-55 on Saturday. It was a good game for forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Piotr Trepka (182-80) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. LKS Lodz's coach Piotr Zych used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Dawid Zagula (174-96) replied with 15 points and 5 assists and power forward Przemyslaw Galewski (199-91) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Stal SW. LKS Lodz moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with AZS UMCS and Gimbasket PRZM. Newly promoted Stal SW dropped to the eighth position with seven games lost. LKS Lodz will face Tur Bielsk Pdl. (#10) in Bielsk Podlaski in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stal SW will play on the road against Start Lublin II and hope to win that game.
