Regular Season Round 28: Yokohama BC - Okinawa GK 83-92

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Okinawa GK (18-7) beat on the road 6th ranked Yokohama BC (13-13) 92-83 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Yokohama BC won third quarter 25-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Okinawa GK made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import power forward Evan Ravenel (203-89, college: Ohio St.) who added 22 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Panamanian-American forward Jordan Henriquez (214-89, college: Kansas St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and American forward Carl Hall (203-89, college: Wichita St.) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Yokohama BC's coach Taketo Aoki rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Okinawa GK have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 18-7 record. Yokohama BC lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. Okinawa GK will face Kanazawa Samuraiz (#7) in Ishikawa in the next round.
