The best player for the winners was point guard Roberto Maggio (183-90) who scored 23 points and 8 assists. Center Luca Malfatti (202-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Alessandro Cecchetti (200-91) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and guard Mauro Torresi Lelli (189-84) added 19 points respectively for the guests. Taranto moved-up to fourteenth place in B. Loser Bisceglie keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost. Taranto will face higher ranked Falconara (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
