The game in Randers supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Bakken (9-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Randers (5-10). Bakken defeated Randers 110-94 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Randers' players. The former international guard Darko Jukic (199-90, agency: Two Points) notched a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 assists to lead the effort and Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) supported him with 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds by American-Belizean point guard Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) did not help to save the game for Randers. The former international swingman Chris Nielsen (192-85) added 29 points for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Randers' coach Morten Hansen rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Bakken maintains second position with 9-3 record having seven points less than leader Horsens IC. Loser Randers keep the sixth place with ten games lost. Bakken will meet at home Stevnsgade (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Randers will play against the league's leader Horsens IC in Horsens and hope to secure a win.
