There was no surprise in Komarno where 6th ranked Iskra Svit (6-14) was defeated by third ranked Rieker KN (13-7) 83-69. Rieker KN outrebounded Iskra Svit 39-28 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Iskra Svit helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard T.J. Bannister (180-84, college: Liberty, agency: Inception Sports) notched 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and the former international Roman Vido (204-88) supported him with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Rieker KN players scored in double figures. Rieker KN's coach Andelko Mandic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
