Ligaen top team - Horsens IC (14-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Horsholm (5-7) 80-68. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Horsholm. The game without a history. Horsens IC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American point guard Nimrod Hilliard IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) scored 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. Horsens IC's coach Arnel Dedic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Nigerian forward Anali Okoloji (203-90, college: E.Michigan, agency: Duran International) responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Horsens IC have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-0 record. Horsholm at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Horsens IC will play against Randers (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Horsholm will play against Svendborg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
