The game was mostly controlled by Deportivo Valdivia. CD Castro was better in second period 28-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CD Castro was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St.) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Sebastian Suarez (193-91, college: Portland St.) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian-American power forward Ike Okoye (206-86, college: Boise St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and American guard Robert McKiver (191-84, college: Houston) added 17 points respectively. Four CD Castro players scored in double figures.
