There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Giulianova (8-8) rolled over at home 6th ranked Senigallia (9-6) 72-48 on Saturday. It was a good game for forward Rudy Diener (202-80) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Simone De Angelis (201-86) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Giulianova players scored in double figures. Forward Mirco Pierantoni (200-81) answered with 14 points and 7 rebounds and guard Sergio Maddaloni (195-82) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Senigallia. Giulianova maintains eighth place in B with 8-8 record. Loser Senigallia keeps the sixth position with six games lost. Giulianova will face Porto S.Elpidio (#10) at home in the next round.
