There was an upset in Istanbul where higher ranked Banvit BK (8-5) was defeated by ninth ranked Besiktas (7-7) 96-87 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 30-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Loser Banvit BK keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Besiktas will face Demir IBB (#10) in Buyukcekmece in the next round.
