Regular Season Round 15: SISU - Naestved 76-84

The game in Copenhagen was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Naestved (10-4) played at the court of 8th ranked SISU (2-14). Naestved managed to secure a 8-point victory 84-76. The guests were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 26-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. Naestved made 17-of-17 charity shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. SISU was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Troy Franklin (183-89, college: Coppin St.) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Mads Bonde (195-97) accounted for 17 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winning side. Montenegrin center Zivojin Grubovic (207-85) came up with 21 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Devin Cherry (190-92, college: Cornell) added 20 points respectively for SISU in the defeat. Five Naestved and four SISU players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Naestved. They maintain third place with 10-4 record having six points less than leader Horsens IC. SISU lost their seventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Naestved will play against league's leader Horsens IC in Horsens in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play on the road against the league's second-placed Bakken (#2) in Aarhus and hopes to get back on the winning track.
