Regular Season Round 15: Cecina - Oleggio 69-45

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Cecina (13-2) crushed at home 12th ranked Oleggio (5-10) 69-45 on Sunday. Cecina forced 22 Oleggio turnovers. Oleggio was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for power forward Devil Medizza (198-90) who led his team to a victory with 10 points and 9 rebounds. Daniele Toscano (196-93, agency: Players Group) contributed with 11 points and 4 steals for the winners. Cecina's coach Federico Campanella felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Riccardo Coviello (197-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Federico Ferrari (197-75) added 12 points in the effort for Oleggio. Cecina maintains second place in B with 13-2 record behind leader Forli. Loser Oleggio keeps the twelfth position with ten games lost. Cecina will face Livorno (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Oleggio will play against Bottegone and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
