The game was mostly controlled by Panteras. Gaiteros was better in third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Panteras especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. American Trey Gilder (206-85, college: Northwestern St.) nailed 23 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) accounted for 23 points and 7 rebounds. Nigerian-American power forward Reggie Okosa (208-80, college: La Salle) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard James Miller (182-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 18 points respectively for Gaiteros in the defeat. Gaiteros' coach Jorge Arrieta let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Panteras moved-up to sixth place. Gaiteros at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Panteras' next round opponent will be again Gaiteros (#7) in Maracaibo.
