There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Porto S.Elpidio (7-9) beat on the road 8th ranked Giulianova (8-9) 74-64 on Wednesday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Diego Torresi (200-92) who added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Porto S.Elpidio players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Danilo Gallerini (185-80) responded with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Lorenzo Bartoli (197-94) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Porto S.Elpidio moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Volpino and Pavia. Loser Giulianova keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. Porto S.Elpidio will face higher ranked Ortona (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
