Very important is a loss of third ranked Dacin Tigers (9-7) against fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (9-8) on Saturday night. Dacin Tigers were defeated by Yulon Luxgen in a tough game 79-83. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dacin Tigers. Dacin Tigers were trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 18-13 charge of Yulon Luxgen, which allowed them to win the game. They made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Yulon Luxgen made 9 blocks. American center James Tyler (218-88) notched a double-double by scoring 26 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the effort and the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) supported him with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Tyler is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 22 points and 19 rebounds by American-New Zealand center Bryan Davis (206-86, college: Texas A&M) did not help to save the game for Dacin Tigers. Guard Yi-Xiang Zhou (191-91) added 17 points for Yulon Luxgen. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Yulon Luxgen maintains fourth position with 9-8 record.
