Very expected game in Santiago de Camp. where 11th ranked Rosalia (1-7) was defeated by first ranked Agustinos-Eras (7-1) 78-68 on Saturday. Agustinos-Eras shot 25 for 34 from the free-throw line, while Rosalia only scored eight points from the stripe. They outrebounded Rosalia 46-28 including 32 on the defensive glass. American forward Dionte Ferguson (198-92, college: S.Alabama) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his fourteen free throws !!!) for the winners. Guard Jaime Dieguez (184-89) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Power forward Alfonso Mallo (200-88) produced 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Anton Bouzan (188-95) added 15 points respectively for lost side. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Agustinos-Eras. They maintain first place in Group A-B with 7-1 record. Rosalia lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. Agustinos-Eras will face Ourense (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rosalia will play against Leon and hope to win that game.
