Regular Season Round 25: Iskra Svit - Nova Ves 108-66

Bottom-ranked Nova Ves (0-22) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 22th consecutive match to sixth ranked Iskra Svit (7-15) 108-66. Iskra Svit dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Nova Ves' 34 and made 27-of-35 charity shots (77.1 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Nova Ves 49-21 including a 33-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nova Ves were plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Jarekious Bradley (196-90, college: SE Missouri St.) nailed 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Canadian guard Juevol Myles (185-89, college: S.Dakota) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Center Michal Dolnik (203-95) came up with 10 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Vladimir Hovanak (193-82) added 12 points respectively for Nova Ves in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Iskra Svit maintains sixth place with 7-15 record. Nova Ves at the other side still closes the standings. Iskra Svit will play against league's leader Prievidza on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nova Ves will play against Nitra (#8) and hope to get finally their first victory.
