Regular Season Round 17: Nysa Klodzko - Krosno 61-104

Leader Krosno delivered the sixteenth victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked Nysa Klodzko (7-10) 104-61 in Kloszko. Krosno players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists. Center Dariusz Wyka (209-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Center Jakub Dluski (200-87) contributed with 9 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Krosno players scored in double figures. Krosno's coach Michal Baran felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Tomasz Stepien (192-86) answered with 17 points and forward Marcin Bluma (201-89) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Nysa Klodzko. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Krosno. They maintain first place with 16-1 record. Newly promoted Nysa Klodzko keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Krosno will play against Biofarm PZN (#13) in Poznan in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Nysa Klodzko will play on the road against Znicz Basket in Pruszkow and hopes to get back on the winning track.
