Regular Season Round 16: Rueil - Blois 70-67

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked ADA Blois (12-3) on the court of second ranked Rueil on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Rueil 70-67. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of ADA Blois. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. ADA Blois was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 7-point lead after three quarters before a 19-9 charge of Rueil, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely ADA Blois outrebounded Rueil 40-27 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Karim Gourari (202-89) who helped to win the game recording 9 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Senegalese center Moise Diame (205-86) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side British-Ghanian center Eric Boateng (208-85, college: Arizona St.) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Benjamin Monclar (188-88) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Rueil maintains second position with 11-4 record behind leader Blois. ADA Blois at the other side still keeps top place with three games lost. Rueil are looking forward to face GET Vosges (#9) in Golbey in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ADA Blois will play on the road against Angers BC (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
