Regular Season Round 13: UCAM Murcia II - Sagunto 76-62

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked UCAM Murcia II (5-7) won against at home 9th ranked Sagunto (2-10) 76-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by UCAM Murcia II. Sagunto was better in second period 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Sagunto 50-33 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Power forward Juan Oliva (203-97) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American-Nigerian point guard David Fatoki (178, college: Wash.-St.Louis, agency: Duran International) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Devin Kastrup (203-92, college: Western St.) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and Luis Ferrando (185-96, college: Mount Olive) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. UCAM Murcia II moved-up to sixth place in Group E, which they share with Paterna. Sagunto lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. UCAM Murcia II will face Paterna (#6) on the road in the next round. Sagunto will play against Cartagena and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
