Regular Season Round 14: TU/Rock - TLU/Kalev 97-88

An interesting game for TU/Rock (11-3) which hosted in Tartu 4th ranked TLU/Kalev (7-6). First ranked TU/Rock managed to get a 9-point victory 97-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TLU/Kalev. TU/Rock players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Canadian-Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) scored 26 points and 5 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Brian Harper (206-85, college: Paine, agency: HMS) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Tom Droney (197-91, college: Davidson) scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Four TU/Rock and five TLU/Kalev players scored in double figures. TU/Rock have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-3 record. TLU/Kalev at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. TU/Rock will play against TTU (#6) in Tallinn in the next round where they are favorite. TLU/Kalev will play at home against Parnu and hopes to get back on the winning track.
