Everything went according to plan in Sant Feliu where fifth ranked Santfeliuenc (7-7) won against 9th ranked Castelldefels (5-9) 73-68 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 41-35 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was guard Xavier Guirao (190-87) who scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Lluis Molina (190-85) chipped in 17 points. Guard Marc Sese (188-93) produced 12 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Adria Mestres (190-89) added 19 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Santfeliuenc moved-up to third place in Group C-B, which they share with Igualada and Miramar. Castelldefels lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Santfeliuenc will face Pardinyes-L. (#6) in Lleida in the next round. Castelldefels will play at home against Andorra II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
