There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Badajoz (4-6) defeated at home 4th ranked San Fernando (5-5) 69-65 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 37-29 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Sean Hill (188, college: Chicago St.) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Jose Manuel Cores chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Juan Antonio Rodriguez-Guerra (-89) produced 11 points and 7 rebounds and Daniel Tugores (185-95) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four San Fernando players scored in double figures. San Fernando's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
