Regular Season Round 14: Rosalia - Leon 47-64

Everything went according to plan in Santiago de Camp. where fifth ranked Leon (6-3) won against 11th ranked Rosalia (1-8) 64-47 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American forward Trevor Berkeley (198-92, college: Drake) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Diego Mallou (180-94) chipped in 19 points. Berkeley is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guard Javier Patino (190-92) produced 12 points and Alvaro Filgueira added 4 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Rosalia's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Leon moved-up to fourth place in Group A-B, which they share with Vigren. Rosalia lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Leon's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Leon to the arena Agustinos-Eras.
