Regular Season Round 12: Reims - Dunkerque 48-55

There was a small surprise when eighth ranked Dunkerque (5-6) beat on the road 6th ranked Reims (5-6) 55-48. Reims was ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 30-14 second half run of Dunkerque. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Reims to just 7 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. The best player for the winners was swingman Carine Paul (176-88, agency: Comsport) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Canadian guard Korissa Williams (175-92) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Fleur Devillers (181-95) who recorded 18 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Clementine Samson (181-91) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Dunkerque have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Reims. Reims lost third consecutive game. Dunkerque's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Aulnoye on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
