Leader Hyeres-Toulon delivered the eleventh victory on Tuesday night. This time they crushed 18th ranked Orchesien BC (3-10) 78-52. The game without a history. Hyeres-Toulon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Orchesien BC to just 6 points in first quarter. Hyeres-Toulon had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. American swingman Chris Dowe (193-91, college: Bellarmine) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and center Jonathan Tornato (210-89) chipped in 12 points during the contest. Four Hyeres-Toulon players scored in double figures. American swingman Jared Newson (205-84, college: Tenn-Martin) responded with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Steeve Ho You Fat (202-88) scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hyeres-Toulon maintains first position with 11-2 record. Orchesien BC lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Hyeres-Toulon will meet Souffelweyersheim (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Orchesien BC will play against ALM Evreux (#6) and hope to secure a win.
