Fourth ranked Al Jaysh (9-4) crushed at home 9th ranked Qatar Sports Club (2-11) by 37 points 107-70, which is the biggest margin this round on Tuesday night. The game without a history. Al Jaysh led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Al Jaysh outrebounded Qatar Sports Club 48-23 including a 35-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Vernon Macklin (208-86, college: Florida) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 21 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import forward Sammy Monroe (198-85, college: Newberry) chipped in 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Monroe is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Al Jaysh players scored in double figures.
