Ligaen top team - Horsens IC (16-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed eighth ranked SISU (2-17) 108-67. The game without a history. Horsens IC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to SISU's 18. Horsens IC looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International guard Gabriel Lundberg (193-94) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American Maurice Creek (196-90, college: G.Washington, agency: CGL Sports) with 25 points and international forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-1 record. SISU lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. Horsens IC are looking forward to face Svendborg (#4) on the road in the next round. SISU will play against Randers (#5) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
