Regular Season Round 5: Louaize - Sagesse 62-70

Bottom-ranked Louaize (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 70-62 loss to fifth ranked Sagesse (3-2) in . Nigerian-American guard Michael Efevberha (193-84, college: CS Northridge) nailed 25 points and 5 steals for the winning side and the former international power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida) accounted for 12 points and 15 rebounds. Four Sagesse players scored in double figures. American center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: Alabama St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import forward Alex Okafor (202-87, college: Princeton) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Louaize in the defeat. Sagesse moved-up to third place, which they share with Moutahed. Newly promoted Louaize still closes the standings with five games lost. Sagesse's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beirut Homenetmen.
