Rather predictable result in Lleida where fourth ranked Santfeliuenc (8-7) defeated 6th ranked Pardinyes-L. (6-9) 80-69 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-69. Strangely Pardinyes-L. outrebounded Santfeliuenc 41-26 including a 12-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Santfeliuenc especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Pardinyes-L. was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for guard Lluis Molina (190-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points. Guard Xavier Guirao (190-87) helped adding 18 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Eduard Villacampa (204-85) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and forward Pol Domingo (198-90) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Pardinyes-L. players scored in double figures. Pardinyes-L.'s coach Jorge Serna tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Santfeliuenc moved-up to third place in Group C-B, which they share with Igualada. Loser Pardinyes-L. keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Santfeliuenc will face Andorra II (#7) on the road in the next round. Pardinyes-L. will play against the league's second-placed AEC Collblanc in L´Hospitalet and hope to win that game.
