Regular Season Round 16: AZS PCz - MCKiS Jaworz. 66-79

Everything went according to plan in Czestochowa where third ranked MCKiS Jaworz. (12-4) beat 5th ranked AZS PCz (8-8) 79-66 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Dawid Grochowski (190-89) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds and forward Michal Matysiak (200-89) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four MCKiS Jaworz. players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Szymon Rynkiewicz (198-91) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Mateusz Gazarkiewicz (193-91) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. MCKiS Jaworz. have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group C with 12-4 record having just three points less than leader Kotwica. AZS PCz lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with eight games lost. MCKiS Jaworz. will face AZS AWF M. II (#11) in Katowice in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS PCz will play at home against Pogon RS (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
