No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (11-10) beat 6th ranked Bank of Taiwan (7-12) 82-74 on Sunday. Bank of Taiwan was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 28-18 charge of Yulon Luxgen, which allowed them to win the game. The former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) nailed 31 points for the winning side and Canadian center Liam McMorrow (218-87, college: Tenn Tech) accounted for 17 points and 15 rebounds. Australian center Luke Nevill (218-86, college: Utah) came up with 26 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Hoyo Long (192-88) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Bank of Taiwan in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bank of Taiwan's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen maintains fourth place with 11-10 record. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the sixth position with 12 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will meet Fubon Braves (#5) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against Dacin Tigers and hope to secure a win.
