There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked O.Lavoro BO (6-11) won against higher ranked Enel Brindisi (7-10) in Bologna 115-109 on Sunday. Enel Brindisi was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Courtney Fells (196-86, college: N.Carolina St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 4 assists. The former international power forward Valerio Mazzola (205-88) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American guard Adrian Banks (191-86, college: NW Mississippi CC) answered with 30 points and 4 assists and American-Jamaican swingman Durand Scott (196-90, college: Miami, FL) added 22 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Enel Brindisi. Five O.Lavoro BO and four Enel Brindisi players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. O.Lavoro BO moved-up to thirteenth place.
