No shocking result in a game in Warszawa where third ranked Legia W-wa (14-6) defeated 5th ranked Znicz Basket (12-8) 76-70 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was power forward Adam Linowski (201-87, agency: Promotex) who scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Adam Parzych (190-86, college: Bryant, agency: Promotex) chipped in 20 points. Point guard Kamil Czosnowski (180-95) produced 15 points and swingman Damian Janiak (195-89) added 10 points and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Four Znicz Basket players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Legia W-wa maintains third position with 14-6 record having five points less than leader Krosno, which they share with GKS Tychy. Loser Znicz Basket keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Legia W-wa will face Spojnia (#9) in Stargard in the next round where they are favorite. Znicz Basket will play on the road against AZS AWF Mick. (#14) in Katowice and hope to win that game.
