Regular Season Round 30: Rieker KN - Inter Bratislava 95-90

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Inter Bratislava (22-5) in Komarno on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Rieker KN (18-8) 95-90. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Inter Bratislava. Rieker KN made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Inter Bratislava turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by Inter Bratislava helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international Roman Vido (204-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American point guard T.J. Bannister (180-84, college: Liberty, agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 15 points and 8 assists for the winners. The former international power forward Radoslav Rancik (205-79, college: St.Cloud St., agency: Beo Basket) replied with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!) and American point guard Ronnie Taylor (187-81, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Inception Sports) added 26 points and 7 assists in the effort for Inter Bratislava. Five Rieker KN and four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains fourth position with 18-8 record. Inter Bratislava at the other side still keeps top place with five games lost. Rieker KN are looking forward to face Iskra Svit (#7) on the road in the next round. Inter Bratislava will play against Esprit Kosice (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
