The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-14. But Panteras won third quarter 28-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard John Cox (194-81, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists and Spanish-Dominican Orlando Sanchez (206-88, college: St.John's) who added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Bucaneros' coach Luis Guil allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American Trey Gilder (206-85, college: Northwestern St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import guard Martin Samarco (190-85, college: Bowling Green) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five Bucaneros and four Panteras players scored in double figures. Bucaneros have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Panteras lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Trotamundos. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
