A very close game took place in Puerto Ordaz between Trotamundos and Gigantes. Fifth ranked Trotamundos (7-8) got a very close victory on the road over 10th ranked Gigantes (3-11). Trotamundos managed to escape with a 3-point win 75-72 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 20-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was the former international Dwight Lewis (197-87, college: USC) who scored 22 points.
