Regular Season Round 15: Feni Industries - Kozuv 78-56

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Kozuv's (7-8) road loss to fourth ranked Feni Industries (9-6) 56-78. It looked good early as Kozuv took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Feni Industries had a 21-16 second period charge getting the lead and Kozuv was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 56-78. Feni Industries shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Kozuv's players. It was a good game for Croatian guard Karlo Vragovic (192-89) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 8 assists. Point guard Jane Petrovski (181-87) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists (perfect behind the arc making all five shots) for the winners. Bosnian-Serbian point guard Aleksej Nesovic (189-85, agency: Beo Basket) answered with 16 points and international forward Vladimir Brckov (200-89, agency: Beo Basket) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kozuv. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Feni Industries. They maintain fourth place with 9-6 record. Kozuv at the other side keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Feni Industries will play against higher ranked Kumanovo 2009 (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kozuv will play against the league's second-placed Karpos Sokoli and hopes to get back on the winning track.
